Construction Begins on the NEW ‘Little Mermaid’ Show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney World may be famous for its classic dark rides, exciting rollercoasters, and heartwarming character interactions – but there’s just something about Disney Parks entertainment that really sets the stage for a magical Disney visit!
Let’s take a look!
With rousing music, beautiful costumes, and absolutely INCREDIBLE performers, stage shows like Festival of the Lion King, Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage, and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond! are a HUGE part of what sets Disney World apart from your everyday theme park.
So when ‘Voyage of the Little Mermaid’ disappeared from the entertainment lineup at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the COVID-19 pandemic back in 2020, many fans were left brokenhearted.
Since then, Disney has released exciting concept art and new information about the upcoming show. They’ve even begun casting for the lead roles of Ariel and Prince Eric!
‘The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure’ will reportedly combine classic songs and familiar elements with all-new sets, special effects, and visuals to tell the beloved story of Ariel, Eric, and all their friends.
Now, as excitement ramps up for the brand-new production, construction has finally kicked off on the show’s home theater in the Animation Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Let’s check it out!
