‘Princess and the Frog’ Stars Anika Noni Rose and Jenifer Lewis Ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
With just weeks to go until Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has its grand opening in the Magic Kingdom, special previews of the attraction continue to be held daily.
While we have previously brought you updates on the new attraction, including a full walkthrough of the ride, updates on the previews, and even a look inside the soon-to-open Critter Co-Op, something magical was brewing on the bayou today.
As part of Disney’s special media previews taking place in the Magic Kingdom, we spotted Disney Legend and the voice of Tiana herself, Anika Noni Rose, taking a ride on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!
Anika Noni Rose Splashes Down
The legendary actress was all smiles sitting inside her Bayou Adventure log.
Rose, of course, reprised her iconic role as Tiana in the attraction, even performing the all-new song, “Special Spice,” in the ride’s grand finale.
Rose’s ride on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure wasn’t the only magical moment in store for guests today.
Jenifer Lewis Sings to Fans ON the Attraction Itself
Jenifer Lewis, who voices Mama Odie in both The Princess and the Frog and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, also took a ride on the new attraction.
In fact, some lucky guests got to hear Lewis singing “Dig a Little Deeper” as she sat on the ride itself!

Like Rose, Lewis looked thrilled to be getting a chance to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Disney also celebrated with a group photo, with the additions of Bruno Campos (Prince Naveen), Keith David (Dr. Facilier), Michael-Leon Wooley (Louis), Jennifer Cody (Charlotte “Lottie” La Bouff), and Jim Cummings (Ray).
