Long Lines Expected for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Previews in Magic Kingdom
With the grand opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure just a few weeks away, the reimagined attraction has been undergoing ride testing and early previews.
MickeyBlog was among the first to bring you a sneak preview of the new attraction, and it is pretty amazing.
As you know, the former Splash Mountain ride has been undergoing a major transformation and is getting ready for the next chapter in Tiana’s story, which opens June 28.
But lots of lucky guests and Cast Members have been getting an early look at the attraction.
Disney Vacation Club members, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders, and Cast Members can check out the attraction before the public.
And even though the crowds are controlled, the lines are still long, as evident by these details spotted just outside of the queue.

We stopped by Frontierland early this morning, and the crowds for the previews were starting to form.

We noticed a few Cast Members outside helping with the crowds and walking the track out in front of attraction.

We also noticed tape being placed on the ground.

You can see the area is marked off and includes arrows to help with directions.

The extended tape and additional markings are in anticipation for the crowds for today’s previews.
Guests are up early and already following the arrows in the extended queue.

As of now, the train station area and bathrooms are also blocked off in prep for previews today.

If you are lucky enough to be included in a sneak preview today, be sure to dress accordingly and hydrate. You will be waiting outside and want to stay safe in the June heat!
