Monorail Peach Returns to Service at Disney World
If you are a frequent reader here at MickeyBlog, then you know that over the last couple of years, the Disney World Monorail fleet has been systematically refurbished.
While they have not delivered the new monorails that many fans have long hoped for, the refurbished monorails have looked amazing when they are done. Last July, for example, we saw the Monorail Green return to service and look amazing!
Well, I am happy to report that Disney is continuing to refurbish the Disney World Monorail fleet and today the newly restored Monorail Peach returned to service!
The Monorail Peach Has Returned
We spotted the Monorail Peach glimmering in the sun as it approached the Magic Kingdom today.
On the outside of the monorail, a new black delta has been added to each cab.
Here is a closer look. Outside of the new delta, the rest of the Monorail Peach looks the same. The entire vehicle looks cleaned up and shiny!
A Peek Inside
Inside the monorail, the cab’s carpet was replaced during the last refurbishment.
Additionally, everything looks cleaned up and brand new!
Here is a look at the back wall. As you can see, it looks great!
This is now the second time the Monorail Peach has been refurbished. By the look of things, the vehicles should be good to go for a while!
Here is one last look at the inside of the cabs. I, for one, can’t wait to see it in person!
