ICYMI: MickeyBlog Visits World Of Disney (Springs)
Disney Springs in the rain is still Disney Springs
Did you watch it? Live from Disney Springs. Me, too!
You missed it. NP. We have the video from MickeyBlog’s Facebook Saturday live stream from Walt Disney World and Disney Spring.
Given I am here in New England and our local Disney Stores are not yet operational, it was awesome (and a bit of a tease) to see Greg and co. head into Disney Springs and “brave the rain” to give us the latest.
And, get this, they’ve re-stocked!
New Stuff at World of Disney!
Our own Melissa Roden typed up all the new stuff they found in Disney’s flagship store.

I think the yellow crocks should be on my Father’s Day list, no?
Video From Walt Disney World
But you didn’t come here for my wish list. You came here for VIDEO evidence of Walt Disney World starting to open.

I caught a glimpse of a new “Baby Yoda” t-shirt in the video; however, my favorite moment was a sneak peek at our fearless leader’s slicked-back hair and new MickeyBlog mask!
Love it.
Know Before You Go: Disney Springs
But, obviously, there is a serious reason for the mask. And Disney Springs has some ground rules for the new normal:
Phased Reopening of Disney Springs and Important Information
- To comply with Orange County’s 10:00 PM curfew, we are closing Disney Springs at 7:00 PM until further notice, allowing Cast Members, operating participant employees, and Guests time to return home.
- Disney Springs is open to Guests at this time. For more information, please visit our Know Before You Go page to learn more about changes to the experience.
- We have taken enhanced health and safety measures. Follow all posted instructions while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. View important details to know before you go.
- Other areas of Walt Disney World Resort remain closed, including theme parks and Disney Resort hotels. Upon reopening, theme parks, Disney Resort Hotels, restaurants, and other offerings may be modified, limited in capacity, and subject to availability or closure. Learn details about this closure and reopening.
And, of course, Greg spoke about the conditions.
“Most of the stores are now open,” said Greg, MickeyBlog.com’s editor-in-chief. “Still the same rules and restrictions in place as far as wearing a face mask; having to get your temperature checked.”
But after that, you’re in Walt Disney World. And it’s all good.
