This weekend, MickeyBlog reporters noticed one very exciting change! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been covered in scaffolding for months now as construction crews installed massive amounts of greenery, flowers, and foliage.
Now, crews are removing large sections of scaffolding, revealing the lush, green hills of Tiana’s Foods in all their glory!

We’ve watched for months as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has taken shape in Frontierland. We’ve seen the installation of the Tiana’s Foods water tower, the arrival of Mama Odie’s glowing lanterns, and the addition of dazzling, New Orleans-inspired murals.

Crews refilled the flume for water testing earlier this month and now, scaffolding has been removed along the top portion of the attraction.

When Will Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Open?
With such significant changes afoot, fans are eager for an announcement on the attraction’s opening date. Disney originally expected Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to open in late 2024.
However, rumors are swirling that opening day could potentially come sooner.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is based on Disney’s 2009 animated film The Princess and the Frog and will pick up after the events of the movie. With cutting-edge animatronics and a New Orleans-inspired soundtrack, the upcoming attraction will follow Tiana, Naveen, and their friends as they search the bayou for an important “missing ingredient.”
