In case you missed it, Splash Mountain is under construction in both Disney World and Disneyland, undergoing a retheme into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure with a brand new storyline to take place directly after The Princess and the Frog.

The new ride theme is expected to be completed in 2024, and we’ve been watching construction progress closely. Now we have a BIG development!
Tiana’s Foods Water Tower
Early this morning, Disney shared images of a brand new water tower installed overnight at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The Tiana’s Foods water tower is topped with Princess Tiana’s iconic tiara, and Disney described it as the “centerpiece” for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
The blue skies and sunshine of Frontierland at @WaltDisneyWorld are looking a bit more regal this morning! 👑☀️ Overnight, Disney Imagineers installed the tiara-topped water tower that will be the centerpiece for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure when the attraction opens in 2024. 💜💚💛 pic.twitter.com/uCIZa3VCWh

So now let’s take a look! This is what you’ll see coming from Adventureland.

Walking up to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
The tower is really impressive, with its display reading, “Employee Owned, Tiana’s Foods, Est. 1927.”

The base of it also has moss details, which is a fun touch.

Tiana’s tiara is probably my favorite part, even including two little sparkly stars. So pretty!

If you get a chance to see the back of the water tower, it says, “Never lose sight of what’s really important.” This is the advice Tiana’s father gives to her as a child in The Princess and the Frog.
We caught this image from the train station located behind Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

“Never lose sight of what’s really important.”
If you’re approaching Tiana’s Bayou Adventure from Liberty Square, it’s pretty obscured by all the trees. In the photo below, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is straight ahead toward the center.

Even from the bridge in front of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, you can’t see the tower easily. If you want to get the most impressive view walking toward it, make sure you approach from Adventureland.
