Over the past year, Muppets fans have watched the various changes to the Courtyard, located near the entrance to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge.

We’ve seen new seats installed at Muppets Muppet*Vision 3D along with maintenance of the iconic Miss Piggy statue.
But the current mystery construction still has us stumped!

Scrim still surrounds the area, but a visible structure emerged this past fall, revealing a brick structure that fits seamlessly with the theming of the surrounding area.
The scope of the project is still unclear, as Disney has yet to make an announcement regarding the construction.

On a recent visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, our team spotted a pair of awnings beyond the scrim. A series of white light fixtures have also been installed along the side of the building.

What Can We Expect?
The intended use of the mystery building is still anyone’s guess, but Muppets fans are holding out hope for a new Muppet-themed offering.

Situated near PizzeRizzo and the Muppet Courtyard restrooms, possibilities for the new building include a merchandise kiosk or a new snack stand.
Personally, I’m rooting for a Muppets-themed snack spot like the one at EPCOT’s 2023 Flower & Garden Festival!
