New Seats Are Finally Coming to Muppet*Vision 3D in Disney World
As a die-hard fan of the Muppets, every time I step foot in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I am thankful that Muppet Vision 3D still exists.
In a park that has seen the loss of its original purpose (the Backlot tour), its original theme (the Golden Age of Hollywood), and its most iconic attraction (The Great Movie Ride), Muppet Vision 3D has chugged along for three decades now, proving family entertainment and Muppet charm.
Because it seems like such a miracle that Muppet Vision hasn’t been demolished for the latest fad IP, every time the attraction gets an upgrade, it feels extra special.
Earlier this week, we reported that new banners now adorn the outside of the attraction, now we have further news.
New Seats Come To Muppet Vision
Inside the Muppet Vision theater, the seats have been reupholstered and replaced.
After years of wear and tear, the Muppet Vision theater seats had grown grimy and beat down.
The new seats, however, look fantastic!
Here is a closer look at the refurbished chairs. They look bright and downright springy.
For comparison, here is a look at a row of the old chairs. You can see how worn they are.
While currently, the back row of seats are the only refurbished ones, hopefully, the seat replacement will continue throughout the theater.
A Great Time to be a Muppet Vision Fan
Between the upgraded projections featured in the show and the new banners on the outside of the building, it is great to see Disney investing in Muppet Vision.
Hopefully, the show will continue entertaining audiences at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for generations to come.
So, next time you are in the park, visit the Muppets. I promise you will not regret it.
