PHOTOS: Stitch Spotted Meeting Guests in Magic Kingdom!
Character meet-and-greets are indisputably one of the best parts of visiting Disney World!

Being able to interact with and hug your favorite Disney characters is a highlight of a Disney World visit for many people, but sometimes these meet-and-greets can come and go. We just spotted a big change in Magic Kingdom, and this news is for Stitch fans!

Stitch is not a particularly easy character to meet in Disney World, and after 2020 he could primarily be found greeting guests from a distance from the Tomorrowland Stage.
It wasn’t until June of 2023 that we spotted Stitch roaming around Tomorrowland, getting closer to guests.

Meanwhile, in Tomorrowland, guests could meet Buzz Lightyear…

…and Chip ‘n Dale in space costumes.

But as of today, January 18th, it looks like both Buzz and Chip ‘n Dale have been removed from the Magic Kingdom meet-and-greet list in the My Disney Experience app.

So today, we were surprised to find a big line in Tomorrowland to meet Stitch!

A Cast Member told us that they aren’t sure whether Stitch will be roaming in Tomorrowland anymore or if he will continue to do regular meet-and-greets.
At this time, nothing is officially scheduled and they expect it to randomly change daily.

It was great to see Stitch today, and it was also a good reminder to keep your eyes peeled in Disney World! You never know what you might come across.
We’ll be keeping an eye on Stitch for official or permanent updates.

In the meantime, you can also meet Stitch (and Lilo) when you dine at the Best Friends Breakfast at ‘Ohana in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!
