Enough Bear News — Let’s Talk About Chip ‘n Dale’s Space Costumes!
In case you missed it, it’s been quite the day in Magic Kingdom, involving a bear — and we don’t mean Winnie the Pooh.
Magic Kingdom is crowded today!
Half of Magic Kingdom closed for part of the day as bear relocation efforts were underway, leading to heavy crowds elsewhere in the parks, including Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. Perhaps it was a coincidence or maybe a calculated choice, but regardless, we got to check out a rare meet-and-greet!
Chip ‘n Dale…in Space??
Earlier today, in Buzz Lightyear’s usual meet-and-greet spot in Tomorrowland, we found Chip ‘n Dale — in SPACE costumes!

These costumes are not new and have in fact been seen in the park in the past, but it’s not something you see every day!

They look so cute with their matching futuristic blue vests and silver hats.

The My Disney Experience app does list Chip and Dale as available meet-and-greets today, so it looks like Buzz Lightyear may not be in the park today.
That said, Buzz may take his spot back tomorrow, so make sure you head to Magic Kingdom today if you’d like to meet Chip ‘n Dale in these special outfits!

The remaining lands of Magic Kingdom, including Frontierland, Liberty Square, and Adventureland, have since reopened, although Tom Sawyer Island reportedly remains closed.
