Rosario Dawson Talks ‘Ahsoka’ Season 2: “I Want to Know What’s Going On”
Star Wars fans got to pick up the story of Star Wars Rebels last year when Ahsoka debuted on Disney+.
While the series was ostensibly about Anakin Skywalker’s former apprentice Ahsoka Tano (and her relationship with her former master), Ahsoka also marked the debut of Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, Hera Syndulla, Chopper, and Grand Admiral Thrawn in live action.
For Rebels fans (not to mention fans of Clone Wars), Ahsoka was a dream come true.
Season 2 Is on the Way
Following a successful season one, Lucasfilm announced earlier this year that Ahsoka would be continuing for another season 2.
When we last saw our heroes, Ahsoka and Sabine were stranded on the planet Peridea as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger made their way back to the known galaxy. As Ahsoka continues the story of the New Republic, season 2 could have big implications for the galaxy far, far, away.
Rosario Dawson has Not Read a Script Yet
In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Rosario Dawson, who portrays Ahsoka Tano in live-action, revealed that while she hasn’t received any scripts yet for season 2, she could not be more excited for the next season of Ahsoka.
“I mean, it’s a big deal. It’s huge,” the actor explained. “I love everyone. It’s an incredible cast. It’s a great group of people and we get more Ahsoka, we get more Sabine. We get more of these characters in a way that — and as much as we’ve watched all of the previous shows and everything — it’s new storytelling, which is just insane to me. So I hope there’s new costumes and I want to know what’s going on.”
Like Dawson, Star Wars fans also want to “know what’s going on.” Based on the fact that Dawson has yet to read a script for Ahsoka season 2, fans could wait a long time to see what happens next.
