NEWS: TRON to Use Standby Queue for After Hours Events in Disney World
In the past few years, Disney has been utilizing virtual queues for super popular rides, events, and more. Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge previously used a virtual queue, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind still does!
The newest ride in Disney World, TRON Lightcycle / Run has also been using a virtual queue to keep up with high demand for the ride. But, that will be changing next year…sometimes.
TRON Standby Queue
TRON will be using a standby queue in Magic Kingdom for its upcoming After Hours events. After Hours is returning to the park on select nights from January 11th through April 8th.
After Hours is a separately ticketed event that allows you access to the park once it has closed to regular guests. There will be exclusive entertainment and over 20 attractions open for you to enjoy with shorter wait times.
So, if you attend the event, you will not have to worry about joining a virtual queue to ride TRON! You will just get in the normal line like you would with most other rides.
We’re sure the wait time will definitely be highest at TRON during these events since it’s a new ride, so keep that in mind.
