Journey of Water Virtual Queue Sold Out on Opening Day in EPCOT
Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana at EPCOT in Disney World is finally officially open! We’ve been keeping our eyes on the progress of the attraction for a long time now, so we’re happy to see it finally completed.
The ride was actually finished a couple of months ago, but its been in Cast Member and Annual Passholder previews, and then it has been in a soft-opening period for the past couple of weeks.

But today is the official grand opening of the attraction, and we were there to check it out! But, you might run into a problem if you don’t plan out your visit to the new attraction.

Journey of Water began using a virtual queue during its soft opening period earlier this month. Today is the official grand opening of the attraction and a virtual queue was once again available.

It looks like a lot of people wanted to check out the new attraction, because the virtual queue was completely full for Journey of Water today! We noticed it full in the early afternoon.

The virtual queue is the only way to check out this attraction. You cannot wait in a standby line.
So, if you’re planning on visiting EPCOT soon and want to check out Journey of Water, you need to make sure you get in that virtual queue! You can join it starting at 9AM and you must be inside of EPCOT to join.

Then, it works like any other virtual queue in Disney World, you will get a boarding group number and be called back when it’s time for you to come experience the attraction.
