NEWS: Disney World Annual Passes Just Got More Expensive
If you visit Disney World pretty often, it probably makes sense for you to get an Annual Pass instead of buying individual tickets. And, Disney actually changed their Annual Passholder program a couple of years ago, creating all-new pass tiers and prices.
Since the new passes were created, we’ve seen a few changes, like price increases. And, buckle up folks, because Annual Passes just got more expensive again.
Annual Passes Price Increase
It hasn’t even been a full year since Disney World increased their prices for Annual Passes, but they’re now making them even more expensive.
For reference, the last Annual Pass price increases went into effect on December 8th, 2022. Here’s what they looked like:
- Incredi-Pass went from $1299 to $1399
- Sorcerer Pass went from $899 to $969
- Pirate Pass went from $699 to $749
- Pixie Pass stayed the same at $399
Now, let’s take a look at the new pricing that is already in effect:
- Icredi-Pass went from $1399 to $1449
- Sorcerer Pass went from $969 to $999
- Pirate Pass went from $749 to $799
- Pixie Dust Pass went from $399 to $439
Keep in mind that all of these prices are before tax, which can be pretty hefty. For example, when I bought my Incredi-Pass this past spring, the original price of $1399 turned out to be closer to $1500 after tax.
If you already have an Annual Pass and are planning to renew it when your eligibility window becomes available, it appears that you will be renewing into this new pricing since it’s already in effect.
Last time this happened, Disney gave ample warning that they were going to increase AP prices instead of just doing it without saying anything overnight. But, this was also when ticket sales for most passes were paused.
So, you’ll need to set aside more money if you’re planning on getting an Annual Pass, renewing the one you currently have, or upgrading your pass to a higher tier. Sorry, folks — Disney seems to just be getting more and more expensive.
