Walt Disney World Annual Passes are Returning With New Options and a New Look
The moment that many of us have been waiting for is here! Walt Disney World has announced that Annual Passes will once again be on sale beginning September 8, 2021 – just in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” to get underway!
When Walt Disney World Annual Passes go on sale beginning September 8, 2021, they will offer Guests new options as well as a new logo. As you can see in the image above, the new logo features a throwback design paying homage to 50 years of magic!
Let’s take a look at the four different types of Walt Disney World Annual Passes that will be offered:
Disney Pixie Dust Pass
- $399 plus tax or $19 per month for 12 months for Florida Residents with a $205 down payment.
- Allows you to visit one or more Theme Parks on most weekdays with an advanced park reservation. This option is subject to blackout dates during peak times and holiday seasons.
- Can hold up to three reservations at a time
- Available to Florida Residents ONLY
Disney Pirate Pass
- $699 plus tax or $45 per month for 12 months for Florida Residents after a $205 down payment
- Allows you to visit one or more Theme Parks on most days with an advanced park reservation. This option is subject to blackout dates during peak times and holiday seasons.
- Can hold up to four park reservations at a time
- Available to Florida Residents ONLY
Disney Sorcerer Pass
- $899 plus tax or $63 per month for 12 months for Florida Residents after a $205 down payment
- *Allows you to visit one or more Theme Parks on most days with advanced park reservations. This option is subject to blackout dates during holiday seasons.
- Can hold up to five park reservations at a time
- Available to Florida Residents and Disney Vacation Club Members ONLY
Disney Incredi-Pass
- $1299 plus tax or $99 per month for 12 months for Florida Residents after a $205 down payment
- Allows you to visit one or more Theme Parks on the same day with advanced park reservations. No blackout dates apply!
- Can hold up to five park reservations at a time
- Open to anyone
Walt Disney World Annual Passes Add-Ons
With the new Walt Disney World Annual Pass program, Passholders can add on the following options for $99 each:
- PhotoPass or MemoryMaker downloads
- Water Park and Sports option
Perks for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders
Guests who purchase a Walt Disney World Annual Pass will receive the following:
- Standard Theme Park parking
- Discounts up to 20% on dining, merchandise, and more
What’s New for Walt Disney World Annual Passes
Below are some highlights of the new Walt Disney World Annual Pass program when they go on sale September 8, 2021:
- Hold More Theme Park Reservations and Bonus Reservations: In addition to be able to make up to five advanced park reservations, the new program will allow Passholders access to “Bonus Reservations.” There will be available on select dates and will allow Passholders to make more advanced park reservations without them counting towards their allotment. In addition, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you will be entitled to make reservations for the length of your stay in addition to the allotment provided with your Pass type.
- Customize Your Walt Disney World Annual Passes: Available for all four Walt Disney World Annual Passes, Guests can customize their Pass with the addition of the PhotoPass/MemoryMaker and/or Water Parks and Sports add-on.
- Access to a New Integrated Calendar: When Walt Disney World rolls out their new Passholder program, Guests will have access to a new integrated calendar that will allow Passholders to easily see blackout dates and view available days as well as making, modifying, or canceling park reservations in one place.
- Passholder Perks: Annual Passes will continue to offer special perks including standard theme park parking and great discounts on merchandise and dining.
- Even More Perks for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary: While no specific details have been announced, Walt Disney World has stated, “There will also be a few special surprises throughout the 50th Anniversary Celebration!”
Information for Walt Disney World Current Passholders
If you currently have a Walt Disney World Annual Pass, you can continue using that Pass the same way as you do today. When it is your time to renew, you will be able to do so at a special, discounted rate. In addition, current Annual Passholders will be able to reserve more advanced park reservations at a time beginning on September 8 as well.
