Disney Has More Projects Underway Than Anytime In Its History
The D23 Expo today kicked off today with “A Celebration of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products: Yesterday Today and Tomorrow, and the news was coming in fast and furious.
Throughout the presentation, Disney announced a new Country Bear show and a new Pirates of the Caribbean tavern were coming to the Magic Kingdom, while also giving a look at the world beyond Big Thunder Mountian.
Other announcements included a new land coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a new version of Test Track, and the debut of an EPCOT nighttime spectacular.
Disney Is Just Getting Started
As it turns out, Disney just getting warmed up.
At the conclusion of the panel, Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products chairman Josh D’Amaro revealed that Disney is planning on investing billions of dollars in the upcoming years, and has more projects on the docket than at any time in the company’s history.
“Over the next decade, we will have more projects underway than at any point in our history,” D’Amaro revealed.
With new attractions, experiences, and restaurants set to open in both the near-term and far-term it is a great time to be a Disney fan. I for one, can’t wait to see what the company comes up with next!
