BREAKING: DINOLAND at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to Be Reimagined
Rumors have been swirling for a long time now, but it was just confirmed at today’s Destination D23 Parks Panel that DINOLAND at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park will be reimagined!
The new theme, you might ask? The Tropical Americas, focusing on the Northern part of South America and reaching into Central America.
I’m also excited to report that we know that Disney is looking for ways to bring two popular Disney films to life in the reimagined land, including Encanto and Indiana Jones!
Per Disney, “Encanto, the Academy Award-winning Walt Disney Animation Studios films, and the favorite adventurer Indiana Jones are being considered for the reimagined land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!”
To bring the Tropical Americas land to life, Imagineers are already researching the most biodiverse areas in the world, including the land just north and south of the equator.
The reimagination process is in the very early stages, so it seems likely that DINOLAND in Animal Kingdom will not be closing in the near future. However, make sure to keep it here with MickeyBlog, as when more details are announced, you can count on us to bring the first to bring it to you!
