BREAKING: Disney and Chevrolet Are Working On a New Version of Test Track!
The D23 Expo kicked off today at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and news is coming in fast and furious.
We have previously brought you updates including the news that the Country Bear Jamboree will be receiving an update, that the Hatbox Ghost will be coming this November, and that EPCOT’s newest nighttime spectacular will debut on December 5.
The most surprising announcement and the one I am most excited for, however, is that Disney and Chevrolet are working together to reimagine Test Track!
A New Test Track Is Coming!
That’s right, we’re getting a new iteration of Test Track for the first time since Test Track 2.0 debuted in 2012.
While we don’t have many details on what the new version of Test Track will entail, we do know that it will be inspired by The World of Motion.
For those who don’t remember, the World of Motion was an original EPCOT Center attraction that told guests the story of transportation.
It was on World of Motion, that we all learned it was “fun to be free!”
Taking Inspiration From The Original Attraction
Additionally, Disney is teasing that the new version of the attraction will take inspiration from the original Test Track. Maybe we will see the return of the Test Track dummies?
I can’t wait to find out!
