BREAKING: Country Bear Jamboree To Debut New Show
After decades of entertaining Magic Kingdom guests with their traditional tunes, Henry, Trixie, Big Al and their pals will debut an all-new musical revue at the Country Bear Jamboree in Frontierland. With a new title, “Country Bear Musical Jamboree,” Grizzly Hall will present the country music-themed show with a Disney twist in 2024.
A Nashville Flair Comes to the Country Bears
The announcement came out this morning during the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products presentation at the D23 Expo. The annual, ultimate Disney fan event is currently taking place at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World Resort.
During the Magic Kingdom portion of the presentation, guests received a first look at one of the new songs coming to the show, a classic country take on the “Bare Necessities” from Disney’s “Jungle Book.” (Or should we say Bear Necessities?)
According to the presentation by Walt Disney Imagineering, the team is working with Nasvhille artists to create the clever new show. The experience will feature different genres of country music and pay tribute to the musical revues that defined early Nashville entertainment.
It looks like the Country Bears have called in experts too, as Jimmy Buffet’s bandmate Mac McAnally featured in the preview shown today at the D23 Expo. Families can still expect a fun and friendly atmosphere. The bears are famous for their wholesome jokes and camaraderie.
Stay tuned for more details on this exciting new entertainment offering coming soon to Walt Disney World!
