India Brings the Flavor at the 2023 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival!
The 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has been going on since July and we’ve been able to check almost everything out!
There is so much to see and do, but one of the main events is definitely the food. We’ve already tried food over at places like Brew-Wing, Italy, and Kenya — now it’s time to check out what’s going on over at the India booth!
India
The India booth is located right after you pass the China pavilion and head toward Refreshment Outpost.
The menu is filled with returning items from last year!
For food, you can get the Chicken Tikka Masala with fennel-spiced yogurt and naan bread for $6.25.
This is a really good portion size making it a filling dish for sure! It has some great flavor to it, but watch out because it’s on the spicy side.
We thought this was seasoned really well and you will probably be a fan if you like Chicken Tikka Masala!
You can also get the Curry-spiced Crispy Cheese with mango-curry ketchup for $5.25. This item is also a part of Emile’s Fromage Montage.
This is exactly the kind of dish that I want to see from the Food & Wine Festival — It’s creative, tasty, and something I can’t really find a lot of other places.
This isn’t a melty cheese like a mozzarella stick, it was actually pretty hearty and almost meaty. The Indian spices are very prominent and delicious and the crispy cheese pairs with the ketchup perfectly, it was like an Indian marinara sauce!
For the plant-based eaters, check out the Potato and Pea Samosa with coriander-lime cream for $5.50. We’ve had these in the past and loved them!
As for the drinks, you can get the Mango Lassi, which is $5 for the non-alcoholic version or $11 for the version with Sōmrus Chai Cream Liqueur.
There is also a Taj Mahal Premium Lager ($5.50 for 6 oz. and $9.50 for 12 oz), the SULA Brut Tropicale Sparkling Wine for $7.50, the SULA Chenin Blanc for $6, and the CORKCICLE Stemless Flute souvenir for $24.
We definitely recommend paying India a visit while you’re at the festival! Stay tuned for more from the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
