So, let’s go check out Brew-Wing Lab at The Odyssey Pavilion and see what fun is in store!
Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey
Brew-Wing has taken on a bit of a different identity this year at Food & Wine — The Muppets have taken over! Let’s go check it out.

Muppet Labs is here at Brew-Wing to create some very interesting concoctions.
Now, The Muppets are not physically here (which I am personally disappointed about), but they are seen on screens at the booth. You can see Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker!
A few of the components on the top of the wall move, but it is just screens. The other things on the walls are decor.
There are just tables inside of the pavilion for you to sit and enjoy your food and drinks.
Every so often, Beaker and Dr. Honeydew will come on the screen and talk about one of the new items!
Here’s another look!

Some of the food items are returning, but we also have a lot of new things to try!
First up are the new Orange-Cardamom Wings for $7.50. These were very tasty!
We thought they were refreshing with and super tangy.
Next, there are the new IMPOSSIBLE Buffalo Chicken Tenders with plant-based blue cheese, plant-based ranch, and celery for $7.50. This dish is entirely plant-based!
We loved these and highly recommend them even if you’re not plant-based! They had a ton of flavor and a subtle kick that wasn’t overpowering.
There are also the new Unnecessarily Spicy, Yet Extremely Tasty Scotch Bonnet Pepper-Curry Wings for $7.50. A Muppet creation, these come with some cool cucumber yogurt.
Beware — these wings are RIDICULOUSLY HOT!! Our reporter likes spicy wings and even said these were a bit too spicy. Make sure you have a cold drink on standby!
Returning to the menu are the Peanut Butter and Jelly Sticky Wings for $7.50, the Garlic-Parmesan Wings for $7.50, and the Traditional Buffalo Wings with celery and ranch for $7.50.
The Buffalo Brussels Sprouts with plant-based blue cheese and plant-based ranch are also back for $5. This is another plant-based item!
Now for the drinks! ALL of the drinks over here are new, and one of them is scaring us, so we might as well try it first.
This is the new Pickle Milkshake. Yep, you read that right — it’s a pickle milkshake. You can get it for $5.75 and it’s non-alcoholic.
We were super intrigued to find out what this tastes like, so are you ready for the results? Drumroll please…
It was delicious!! We were pretty surprised that this works, but it absolutely does.
The shake starts with the sweetness of the vanilla and then the dill from the pickle comes in, striking a perfect balance. There is a LOT of dill flavor in this, so if you like dill pickles, this should be your jam!
There is no vinegar flavor like you get from pickles, which we think is a good thing. It’s more of the fresh herb flavor of dill!
If you don’t like dill pickles, we would not recommend this one though!

Next up is the new Frozen Fusion for $4.75. This is Twinings Pomegranate and Raspberry Herbal Tea fused with orange ice cream molecules and it’s non-alcoholic.
We loved this new drink as well! It was very fruity and super refreshing. This is perfect for a hot day in the parks!
We also have all-new beers and ciders! For the beers, you can get the Sun King Brewing Caipirinha Lager, the Brew Hub French Connection IPA, and the 3 Daughters Brewing Old Fashion Porter.
Get them individually (6 oz. for $5.50, 12 oz. for $9.50) or in a beer flight for $10.
The new ciders are Blake’s Hard Cider Co. Tropicolada Hard Cider, Bold Rock Peach Berry Hard Cider, and 3 Daughters Brewing Raspberry Lemonade Hard Cider.
These are the same price as the beers and are also offered in a flight with all 3 for $10.
I tried these ciders myself and thought the Tropicolada Hard Cider was decent when I first tasted it, but the more I drank it, the more I hated it. The pineapple and coconut are just too artificial tasting to where I couldn’t finish this cider, and I usually finish my drinks unless they’re pretty bad.
You can definitely taste the peach flavor in the Peach Berry cider, but it’s very well balanced with the berry flavor. I’m not a big fan of peach-flavored drinks but I actually enjoyed this one because the berry helps it out a lot!
The best cider in the flight by far is the Raspberry Lemonade! It’s zippy, refreshing, fruity, and not too sweet — I would get a full size of this next time, especially when it’s hot outside!
