First Flags are Flying for 4th July at Magic Kingdom!
The fourth of July is right around the corner, and the first signs of celebratory red, white, and blue décor adorning the Magic Kingdom have started to appear!
We can always rely on Walt Disney World to pull out all the stops when it comes to marking July 4th, with the first signs of celebration starting to crop up across the resort days in advance.
A fantastic schedule of commemorative activities, experiences, and performances has already been released for guests to plan their perfect July trips, and the sweetest red, white, and blue treats have begun to appear on menus across the parks, too!
However, one of the most integral parts to any celebration event at Disney is always going to be the decorations. There’s something about seeing flags and banners lining the parks that give us an extra-festive feeling, as well as providing the most perfect photo opportunities to remember forever.
So, we’re thrilled to be able to report that our MickeyBloggers have spotted the first elements of 4th July décor have started to arrive at the Magic Kingdom, with these glorious trimmings appearing overnight at the park’s entrance!
Main Street, U.S.A. will always be one of the most patriotic spots in Walt Disney World – up there, of course, with Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom, and the American Adventure pavilion over at EPCOT.
So, the Main Street Station and City Hall buildings just look like they were made to have these beautiful red, white, and blue flags flown high across their beams, as evidenced by the spectacular photos our reporter Kayla snapped this morning!
At the moment, it’s just these gorgeous rosette flags we can see adorning the buildings at the end of Main Street, U.S.A.
However, we’ve still got a good week or so to go until July 4th arrives, so we’re certain that more beautiful tidings and trimmings will appear throughout the rest of the Magic Kingdom and beyond!
Last year, the season’s celebratory decorations even reached the inside of the Carousel of Progress attraction, which added a really fun element to the show we’ve all seen countless times before.
However, the most breathtaking attraction for the event will always be the spectacular annual 4th July fireworks display at the Magic Kingdom, which we can’t wait to see make its grand return this year!
It’s worth noting that 4th July always attracts huge crowd levels to Walt Disney World, so do bear that in mind if you’re planning a trip over the coming days.
This being said, the patriotic spirit in the parks is always so high for this holiday, so we’re sure you’re bound to have a fantastic time!
