Grandmother Wins Lottery Will Take Grandson To Disney!
Here’s a feel good story for your Wednesday evening. According to a recent piece in the Wilmington Star News (North Carolina) a grandmother has big plans for her and her grandson after winning $200,000 in the lottery!
Agnes Gore, of Wilmington won the cash prize in a second-change drawing last week and now plans to take her grandson to Disney World!

In a press release from North Carolina Education Lottery, Gore said of the win, “When I saw it I just started laughing because I really didn’t believe it.” She added, “I know it’s for real now though.”
Gore collected her win yesterday receiving $142,000 after withholdings. In addition to plans to bring her 10 year-old to Disney, Gore said that her winnings will also go toward retirement.
