The Scaffolding Around Harper’s Mill On River’s of America Has Come Down
Over the weekend we here at MickeyBlog shared an update on construction work that is currently happening to Rivers of America. The entirety of the River which stretches from Liberty Square through until Frontierland is completely drained exposing the track of the Liberty Belle.
As part of the maintenance and refurbishment of the Liberty Square area Harper’s Mill one of the iconic buildings on Tom Sawyer Island was seen shrouded in scaffolding for a paint job.
We can now reveal that the scaffolding has come down.
We can now get a closer look at some of the cosmetic updates including a brand new vibrant red paint job.
It’s so refreshing to see this Rivers of America building restored to its former glory!
Work on Rivers of America started back in December of 2020.
Though Disney didn’t specify the nature of the work being out, this is prime time at Disney World for routine maintenance.
Disney has projected February 2021 as the end of the project.
With scaffolding coming down (like with Harper’s Mill) we are starting to feel a bit more optimistic that we will see the River bed filled up again shortly shining in the sunlight!
