Disney TV Casting Exec Cornelia Frame Among Latest Layoffs
With the second round of Disney layoffs winding down, news about job cuts and consolidations is still trickling in.
Today, news has come down the wire that Disney TV casting executive Cornelia Frame is leaving The Walt Disney Company.

Frame has been a fixture of the Disney Channel for 18 years, most recently serving as the VP of Casting and Talent Relations at Disney Branded Television.
With Frame’s exit, Casting for Disney Branded Television is being added to the portfolio of EVP Casting Sharon Klein. She already oversees the casting teams of ABC Entertainment, 20th Television, ABC Signature, 20th Television Animation, Walt Disney Television Unscripted, Hulu Originals, and Freeform.

Brenda Kelly-Grant, Disney Branded Television’s SVP and Head of Casting and Talent Relations will now report to Klein.
A Storied Career
Frame started her Disney Channel career 18 years ago as Director of Casting & Talent Relations. Over her career, she helped discover young stars including Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, The Jonas Brothers, Zendya, Oliva Rodrigo, and more.

Disney has managed to help create some of popular culture’s biggest stars during her tenure.
Dark Days At Disney
Frame was not the only long-tenured Disney employee laid off this week. Disney’s company-wide cuts have proven to be deep cutting and numerous.
In total, the company is expected to have cut 4,000 jobs by the end of the week. The layoffs were originally announced in February, as part of CEO Bob Iger’s plan to cut nearly $5.5 billion dollars in company spending.
