How to Shop the NEW TRON Merchandise Collection in Magic Kingdom
TRON Lightcycle / Run has officially opened in Disney World! The ride has been in a soft launch for the past few weeks, but today is the grand opening.

You can get on the ride either by getting in the Virtual Queue or by purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane. Remember, there is no standby line!

But, there is a standby line for something else relating to TRON — the merchandise! There is a TON of new merchandise available for TRON’s opening today, and we’re going to tell you where to find it.
TRON Merchandise Event
We’ve already gotten a sneak peek at some of the TRON merchandise collection, but you can get your hands on all of it today in Magic Kingdom. When you enter the park, you will be directed to the right toward Tomorrowland.
If you want to get to the merchandise, follow these directions. If not, you can keep walking.

You will see various Cast Members with signs that will direct you on where to go.
Beware, there are a LOT of people in the park today!

We were directed over to Tomorrowland Terrace.
Once through here, we went by another Cast Member who was advertising to use Mobile Checkout in the stores to save time. You can do this through your My Disney Experience app.
Remember, if you’re a resort guest, you can get into the park 30 minutes early (8:30AM today). Everyone else gets in at 9AM.

We saw people splitting off between the pop up store where Stitch’s Great Escape used to be into Star Traders. We got in line to go into Star Traders.
There were a ton of people waiting in line!
Then, it was time to go inside!

The line continued inside the building, so there was more waiting to be done.
In here, we saw some TRON advertisements…
…as well as another sign talking about using Mobile Checkout.
Then, we finally got into the store, and it was time to shop!

Guests also have access to the merchandise available over at the space that used to be home to Stitch’s Great Escape.
It’s the same process as Star Traders!
In here, you’ll find the same merchandise that’s inside of Star Traders.
This should let more people get their hands on some merch today!
Note that the only guests allowed over at Tomorrowland Launch Depot (the former Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.) have to have a reservation.
