Disney Hints at Special Offerings For Animal Kingdom’s 25th Anniversary
We’re not sure if you’ve noticed, but Disney LOVES celebrating an anniversary! The giant 50 that’s been on the front of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom for almost a year and a half should tell you that.
They go BIG for big anniversaries — we’re just now coming to the end of the 50th Anniversary celebrations for Disney World, and the 100th Anniversary celebrations for The Walt Disney Company kicked off in January.
There is also a new Disney 100th Anniversary Celebration web page on Disney World’s website, and we spotted some interesting info about another anniversary happening soon in Disney World!
Animal Kingdom Anniversary
Disney has said that throughout the month of April, guests will be able to enjoy limited-time offerings at Animal Kingdom to celebrate Earth Day and the park’s 25th anniversary!

Details should be coming soon, but Disney did mention what some of the celebrations could include a few weeks ago. They said that there will be new sweet and savory treats, specialty merchandise, and limited-time character sightings in the park.
Disney also mentioned that there will be more surprises happening on April 22nd, which is the actual date of Animal Kingdom’s anniversary as well as Earth Day.
Animal Kingdom turning 25 is a big anniversary, so we do expect some big celebrations! That combined with Disney’s 100th Anniversary celebrations should be a great combo.
We’re sure there will be some fun new foods to try and some rare characters to see!
