VIDEO: Final Piece of Track Laid For TRON Lightcycle/Run
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog then you know that we’ve been excitedly tracking the progress of the new TRON Lightcycle/Run indoor coaster that is currently being constructed near Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom.
That’s why we’re so excited to share with you that an important milestone has been reaching in the project’s construction timeline! This week cast members are celebrating the final piece of the attractions ride track being lowered into place!

TRON Lightcycle / Run is set to open at Magic Kingdom Park in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021.
It is a coster-style attraction that will allow riders to board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles for a thrilling race through a digital frontier! A similar attraction has already become a fan favorite at Shanghai Disneyland where it opened in 2016!
