‘Everything Everywhere’ Filmmakers Are Coming to Star Wars
While the upcoming Star Wars Disney+ series Skeleton Crew has already wrapped filming, the show continues to be shrouded in mystery.
The series, combined with the third season of The Mandalorian and the first season of Star Wars: Ahsoka, will make for a huge 2023 for Star Wars. As the year rounds into form, however, we are starting to get a sneak peek at what we can expect.

What We Know
So far, we know that the show will be helmed by Jon Watts and star Jude Law.
The story of Skeleton Crew will be set during the New Republic era. The show will center on a group of kids lost in the galaxy and trying to find their way home.
Like all of the Disney+ live-action series, Skeleton Crew will be executive produced by the team behind The Mandalorian — Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.
Top Tier Talent
Clearly, anticipation is building for the debut of the newest Star Wars live-action series. Now, news has now broken that Everything Everywhere filmmakers Daniel Scheinert and Dan Kwan will direct at least one episode of Skeleton Crew.

While the extent of the newly minted Oscar winners’ involvement with the series is unknown, it is great to hear that Star Wars is still attracting top-tier talent.
Scheinert and Kwan recently took home three Oscars for Everything Everywhere, including best original screenplay, best director, and best picture.
