Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy Have a Ball in China Promoting ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’
With just three weeks to go until Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and director Shawn Levy are in full promotion mode.
The trio set out on an overseas promotional tour earlier this week, with their first stop being Shanghai.

As Deadpool & Wolverine will be the first film in the franchise to secure a day-and-date release in China without significant changes, the trio had good reason to celebrate.
The Tour Began in Shanghai
“Shanghai was the first stop on the #DeadpoolAndWolverine tour — and we thank you from the heart of our bottom. What a city and what a welcome,” Reynolds wrote on X.

While in Shanghai, Reynolds, Jackman, and Levy also stopped in front of a thirty-foot giant Deadpool on the banks of the Huangpu River and a pop-up store on Wukang Road. According to the Marvel Weibo account, the store will be open until July 7.
On to Korea
Later in the week, the tour continued in Korea, where the Deadpool & Wolverine trio caught a baseball game.
“Ending day 2 of out #DeadpoolAndWolverine promo tour with two of my best mates at a baseball game in Korea?! If this is a dream, I don’t want to wake up anytime too soon.” Jackman wrote on X, alongside photos of the adventure.

Deadpool & Wolverine is currently tracking towards a record-breaking opening of $160-$165 million. That number would give the film the largest opening ever for an R-rated film and the biggest debut of 2024.
