Everything You Can Do for St. Patrick’s Day in Disney World
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone! The Irish holiday is officially being celebrated today, but Disney World begun celebrations a bit early (which is why we’ve already had some festive treats!).
There are a lot of different things you can do in Disney World to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, so let’s break everything down!
Mighty St. Patrick’s Day Festival
The annual Mighty St. Patrick’s Day Festival is BACK at Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant in Disney Springs! This event will be taking place from March 16th-19th this year.
The event has live entertainment, five outdoor bars, dancing, shopping, and food and drinks, of course. Get ready to see entertainers that are straight from Ireland!
If you’re hungry, you can grab items like Shepherd’s Pie or Fish and Chips. And, if you’re thirst, there will be a LOT of options (it is a pub, after all!).
Additional activities at the festival include things like giveaways and face painting.
Reservations are encouraged during the festival except for on March 17th (actual St. Patrick’s Day). On St. Patrick’s Day only, seating will be first-come, first-served and a $20 cover charge will apply for people 18 and over.
Read more about the festival right here!
St. Paddy’s Day Menu at City Works
There’s a special menu at City Works Eatery & Pour House in Disney Springs for St. Paddy’s Day.
The dishes on the limited-time menu include Irish Loaded Fries, a Pastrami Reuben, and Irish Bangers and Mash. Drinks include the Irish Mule, along with some special Guinness Blend drinks — the Dark Side of the Moon, a Snakebite, and a Voodoo.
You can see all of the details for each menu item right here!
Festive Sweet Treats
Disney likes to make themed food for almost every occasion, so there are a TON of St. Patrick’s Day treats around all of Disney World! And, we’ve already tried a bunch out for ourselves.
Over at Disney Springs, you can get things like special donuts at Everglazed or a fun piñata at The Ganachery…
…as well as a petit cake at Amorette’s Patisserie or a Shamrock Shake at Vivoli il Gelato.
Oh! And we can’t forget about that Frozen Hot Cocoa Float with Bailey’s Irish Cream Liqueur at Swirls on the Water! You can also get the mint soft serve in a Shamrock Cone over here for the holiday.
There are also some special limited-time St. Patrick’s Day treats over at Gideon’s Bakehouse, like a green cake and a minty cookie!
Other treats we’ve tried include the Leprechaun Churro from Sunshine Churros and the Irish Coffee Cupcake from Sprinkles.
There’s also some awesome green apple cotton candy over at Goofy Candy Co. or you can find it in carts around Disney Springs.
At the resorts, you can find things like a lucky nugget of gold at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge…
…a themed cupcake at Disney’s Contemporary Resort…
…a Mickey Shamrock Beignet at Port Orleans — French Quarter…
…and a special cake and cupcake at Disney’s All Star resorts. There’s also a festive parfait at Art of Animation!
And, in the parks, find items like GREEN popcorn at the Confectionery in Magic Kingdom!
We even found a margarita in EPCOT that comes with a side of Irish Whiskey in EPCOT! And, there’s an Irish Coffee Tart over at Sunshine Seasons.
There are actually a lot of other special limited-time items available for St. Patrick’s Day around Disney World, so you can check out the full list right here.
Lucky Merchandise
There is also some fun merch you can snag for St. Patrick’s Day! We found this magnet of Mickey and Minnie in Creations Shop at EPCOT recently.
There are also some St. Patrick’s Day bath products available at Basin in Disney Springs and at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We saw a soap, bath bomb, and sugar soufflé themed for the occasion!
St. Patrick’s Day Photo Op
There’s a St. Patrick’s Day PhotoPass opportunity, too! We first saw this fun and festive Mickey pop over in Disney California Adventure park the other day, but we saw it in Disney Springs near Cookes of Dublin today.
We’ll update this post with any other fun celebrations we see today, so be sure to stay tuned!
