We Tried St. Patricks’s Day Treats from Gideon’s Bakehouse
It’s St. Patrick’s Day and there is a LOT going on in Disney World for the holiday!
From a festival to special treats to merchandise, there are so many different ways for you to celebrate. One way is by grabbing some very limited-time treats from over at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs!
Gideon’s Bakehouse St. Paddy’s Day Treats
Gideon’s Bakehouse is located at The Landing in Disney Springs, right across from Raglan Road (where a very big festival is happening for St. Patrick’s Day!). They serve up GIANT cookies, as well as cakes, coffees, and other treats.
A few items are specially available only from today through Sunday, March 19th for the holiday.

Mega Mint St. Patrick’s Day Cake
This is a three-layered vanilla cake with a Super Mint Green Buttercream. Gideon’s described it as tasting like a perfect mint ice cream — but how does it taste?
Well, if you like mint and chocolate, this is the cake for you! Our MickeyBlogger Jessie said it’s perfectly minty with just a hint of chocolate, like an Andes Mint.
In fact, they use actual Andes Mints in the center of the cake! That was the most prominent flavor here.
She said the white cake is fluffy and moist, and the green icing also has a minty flavor. Overall this was delicious!
This cake is available by the slice only.
Mint Cookies & Cream Cookie
This cookie is infused with mint and also topped with Andes Mint pieces. It’s like the regular cookies and cream cookie that’s available at Gideon’s, but with the addition of that mint flavor!
There’s a bit of salt and green sprinkles on top as well to give it that extra flare!
MickeyBlogger Jessie said this cookie tastes exactly how it sounds. The cookies and cream element is from Oreos and the Andes Mints bring in a great balance of mint to that flavor profile.
The cookie is moist and very tasty, which isn’t surprising at all, since that’s how a lot of Gideon’s cookies are!
How to Get These Treats

If you’re looking to try these St. Patrick’s Day treats, you’ll wanna head over to Gideon’s Bakehouse as soon as you can. These items are all limited to two per person and are only available while supplies last.
Remember that Gideon’s is notorious for having a pretty long line to get in, so you’ll want to make time in your schedule for that. If you’re around Saturday and Sunday, we’d recommend getting there right when Gideon’s opens (or even before) to make sure you get these treats in a timely manner!
