Tusker House Returns With Family Style Breakfast
The famous Animal Kingdom Character Eatery re-opened on Sunday AM…
So who was first in line to get into Animal Kingdom? You guessed it: Greg and Elyssa Antonelle, our famous MickeyBloggers hit the turnstiles early to give you the best view of the re-opening day of Tusker House Restaurant!
There for Rope Drop at AK
As Greg explained, there’s no trick to getting a good spot in line. Just get up and out, early!
G & E were greeted by actual greeting signs as opposed to social distancing and caution signs.
And then they followed the signs into Animal Kingdom where they found Tusker House Restaurant. Doesn’t it look like it’s been there forever!
Greg and Elyssa waited just a little bit to get inside at 8:00 AM.
After checking into the restaurant…
…and enjoying the outdoor Biashara courtyard.
Just a few minutes and they were in. And walking in to find their table!
A nice welcome from the staff, who were hurrying to get everything just right.
Much to the appreciation of the guests – happy faces! And, let’s just repeat, just take a look at the theming of this place.
Just like everywhere else in Animal Kingdom, it is incredible.
QR code for breakfast!
Check out the menu for yourself!
A selection of pastry and bread to start. With creme cheese, Nutella, and jam.
Fruit and juice, as well.
Yogurt on the side. Most definitely so for Greg, haha!
Jungle juice!
Now check that out. Sausage, eggs, bacon, potato wedges, and Mickey and Simba waffles. Coffee, too! I wonder if they ship to Massachusetts?
And a side of Characters?
Another view of the texture. Hungry yet?
This is Durban Chicken & Egg Curry with Jasmine Rice. Mmmm.
All of the above served with a beautiful side of Daisy Duck…
…and handsome Donald Duck in his park ranger uniform.
Goofy was there, too.
And the main Mouse, himself, Mickey Mouse!
And, while there are no autographs, Elyssa did get this nice card at the end of the meal.
AND, we have the whole experience on video:
