Our MickeyBloggers were strolling along the Magic Kingdom parade route this morning, where they happened upon one of the most special new sweatshirts on Main Street, U.S.A.
Inspired by the most inspiring night-time spectacular entertainment offerings of Disney history, this cozy new crewneck is one that fans certainly aren’t going to want to miss!
Yup, this gorgeous new fashion piece is a beautiful reflection of the iconic Main Street Electrical Parade!
This fan-favorite offering may have wrapped up forever over at the Disneyland Resort last summer, but the music and majesty of the performance will stay in our memories – and our hearts – forever. With audiences across Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and even further afield having been captivated by this parade over the years, it’s no surprise that we’re still seeing merchandise crop up in the stores to keep that spark alive, and we’re so thrilled to have found so many pieces so far this year to show you all.
A recent trip to Disney Springs uncovered a breath-taking range of highly-collectible items to admire, but we think this adorable new sweatshirt will certainly be a popular piece among guests this season. So, let’s check it out in more detail!
This sweater may be on the more subtle side when it comes to Disney merchandising, but it really is spectacular. With the sweatshirt itself being as dark as the night sky, the graphic images printed on each side beautifully capture the enchanting light displays of two of the most iconic parade floats, serving up all the nostalgia and magic we’re missing!
As you can see from our photos, the front of the garment features the cute blue toadstool float, pictured below in the 2022 parade, complete with the red butterfly flapping its wings on top.
Turning the sweater around, we can see that the lovable caterpillar float is the one portrayed on the back, dazzling in technicolor spots against the dark fabric background.
It’s worth noting that the graphics depicted on the sweater are actually printed on, rather than studded or embroidered as it may look like from the photos.
While this doesn’t add any texture to the crewneck, it still gives off the most beautiful of designs that capture the essence of the parade wonderfully!
