We’re Hedge Over Heels For The Latest Flower & Garden Topiaries
It seems like more Flower & Garden topiaries are installed at EPCOT daily. Our MickeyBlog crew found three new ones today!
The Three Caballeros, Lady and the Tramp, and a Japanese bamboo water feature are now available. Plus, we saw the butterfly tent completely assembled!
Three Caballeros Topiary
Nearby the Mexico pavilion stands three classic Disney characters: Jose, Panchito, and Donald Duck from the 1944 film The Three Caballeros.
The three are seen singing and waving to their adoring fans.
We love Panchito singing his heart out! The color and level of detail, down to his pistol holster, add to its charm.
And, of course, Donald is always happy to be there with his maraca.
Lady and the Tramp Flower & Garden Topiary
Next, we find a romantic duo at the Italy pavilion: Lady and Tramp. The two are staringing longingly at each other while surrounded by rows and rows of flowers.
We love the texture throughout Lady – especially her ears!
Of course, Tramp is looking as dapper as ever.
Japan Bamboo Installation
Today’s last installation was a bamboo water feature at the Japan pavilion. It is an impressive sight with many intricate details.
There appears to be a fountain feature throughout, and certain elements move with the water flow. We even see drums the bamboo stalks will hit once operating!
Testing is underway for the upcoming festival, as some basins had standing water. Maybe they will be turned on before the Flower & Garden Festival opening day?
Butterly Tent Now Fully Assembled
Even though it is still behind green tarp, we noticed the butterfly garden is now standing. We previously reported its construction last week, which had just started.
While there did not appear to be any plants or butterflies inside, it is a sign that we are getting closer to the festival!
During the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival, you can visit butterflies and learn about their habitats inside this tent. It is a gorgeous experience that is very popular with visitors.
EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival
This popular festival returns from March 1 to July 5, 2023. You can enjoy seeing topiaries, live musical entertainment, participate in kid-friendly activities, and eat delicious limited-time foods.
Our MickeyBlog team will be there to cover the festival. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit MickeyBlog often to get the latest Disney news, planning tips, merchandise releases, and more.
