BREAKING NEWS: Narcoossee’s Reopens at Grand Floridian April 1st With New Menu
Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is ready to reopen! If you’ve been following along with us, you’ll know that the restaurant has been closed for a lengthy refurbishment. Narcoossee’s will be officially reopening on April 1, 2023, and Disney is sharing a sneak peek at the new menu.
The restaurant’s new concept features the same waterside location and panoramic views. In addition, the new menu keeps its Land and Sea focus and was created by Chef Noah Eastbrook and Pastry Chef Kristine Farmer. Let’s take a look.

Delectable Bread Course
Visitors will kick off your Narcoossee’s meal with one of Chef Kristine’s specialties — Artisan Boule of Sourdough. This loaf is served up with a perfectly toasty crust and is baked daily directly on-site at the Grand Floridian.

A Masterfully Crafted First Course
Don’t worry Narcoossee’s regulars, you’ll be pleased to know that the Bisque is still on the menu! However, Disney has enhanced the tableside presentation for this beloved dish.
The new menu also features two new starters. A new highlight is sure to be the Beef and Ricotta Tortelloni. It is served with brown butter, parsnip puree, and sultana raisins.

Another noteworthy Narcoossee’s appetizer is the Ocean-inspired Charcuterie Board. This fresh take features ahi tuna pastrami, charred octopus, and house-made “sausage from the sea.” Each component of the charcuterie represents the style of a different chef on the Narcoossee’s team!

Main Course Featuring Sustainable Seafood
The Blackened Redfish is Chef Noah’s signature dish and the team has sourced sustainable seafood to bring this beauty to life! The dish is served with crispy chorizo-sunchoke with hominy, Florida sweet corn, and red pepper rouille. The fish is flavored with a secret blend of blackened spice that is a bit of a culinary secret!

If land-based is more your style then we recommend starting with the Dry-Aged Port Ribeye Chop. The Ribeye is served with cream goat cheese-potato pave and turnips with onion jam and fig jus.
We’re also told that the chefs opted to keep some of Narcoossee’s guest favorites on the new menu. This includes the always popular Plancha-seared Scallops with Parisian Gnocchi. Another mainstay is the Surf and Turf which features tender filet mignon and butter-poached lobster.

Perfect for Plant-Based Dining
For those preferring a plant-based diet, look no further than the Roasted Vegetable Paella on Narcoossee’s new menu! It features market vegetables, cannellini beans, and preserved artichoke finished with charred Meyer lemon.

Unforgettable Desserts
Another item that Narcoossee’s is keeping on the menu is the Almond-Crusted Cheesecake. This dish has reached legendary status and rightly so. It features a Lamber cherry sauce and Chantilly cream.
New additions to the dessert menu include the Berry Pavlova. This treat is artfully crafted with Florida fresh berries placed over a meringue and yuzu creameux. Adding an extra special Narcoossee’s touch is the tableside pour of cream anglaise.

Dole Whip fans are sure to be smitten with Narcoossee’s Pineapple Bavarois. This goodie features a roasted pineapple center and house-made blackberry and buttermilk ice cream.

Unwind With a Cocktail or Zero Proof Beverage
Narcoossee’s waterfront setting makes it the perfect spot to wind down with an evening drink. The wine list has been updated to include a diverse portfolio of varietals. Matt Cristi and his team of sommeliers will be available to help you create the perfect pairing for each dish.
Mixologists will also be on hand to create one of the drinks for their new curated cocktail menu. These drinks were inspired by the Victorian Era. A great starting point is the Empress Lime Gimlet which is made with Empress Gin, Rockey’s Botanical Liqueur, and cold-pressed lime.
