Yup, he’s “Going to Disneyland!”
As part of a decades-old tradition that started all the way back after Super Bowl XXI, the winning quarterback will represent his team at the iconic Disneyland resort on the magical morning following the triumphant victory.

This is why, as soon as those confetti cannons erupt onto the field at the end of the game, you’ll see MVPs excitedly cheer “I’m Going to Disneyland“, first spoken by Phil Simms for the New York Giants back in 1987. It’s such an iconic phrase in the most exciting of moments, so we can see why Mahomes was so happy!

In celebration of Patrick Mahomes and his help in leading the Chiefs to a 38-35 win over the Philadelphia Eagles last night, Disneyland put together this sweet tribute video, as a way of welcoming the quarterback in advance to the resort for his trip today.
Along with his family and friends, Mahomes will be treated to a fun-filled day at the parks, where, of course, Disney’s 100th anniversary celebrations are in full swing!
But it’s not just Mahomes who’s in for a treat, as all guests attending the Disneyland park today will be able to enjoy a special celebratory cavalcade parade, which will see the players join Mickey and friends along the parade route down Main Street, U.S.A. from 1.30pm.

The Super Bowl last night was an exciting event for sporting and Disney fans alike, with that unmissable halftime show giving us a long-awaited first look at some of our top most-anticipated movies.
As well as the emotional “100 Years of Magic” Walt Disney Company ad that was shared during the game, we also saw trailers for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3!
