Ways to Celebrate Princess Tiana at Disney Destinations Around the World
It’s World Princess Week! And, to celebrate, I’d love to share some ways to celebrate the brave and ambitious Princess Tiana from “The Princess and the Frog” at Disney Destinations around the world!
Tiana Sails on Disney Cruise Line
If you are looking for some Princess Tiana time at sea, Disney Cruise Line is the only way to go!

In February 2022, the Disney Wonder will be sailing from Tiana’s hometown of New Orleans on four and six night itineraries to the Western Caribbean. While on board, Guests can visit two locations inspired by the Disney Princess herself:
When Guests on the Disney Wonder dine at Tiana’s Place, they will be treated to a celebration of New Orleans-inspired dining and entertainment with a menu that offers flavors straight from the bayous of Louisiana.
After you finish your dinner at Tiana’s Place, you’ll want to head over to the French Quarter Lounge for an after dinner specialty drink and dance the night away. During the day, families can enjoy trivia, workshops, crafts, and music in the Lounge that brings the spirit of New Orleans to the Disney Wonder.
The Disney Wish

When the Disney Wish sets sail beginning in June 2022, Guests will be able to visit The Bayou – a casual “The Princess and the Lounge”-themed cocktail lounge that will be serving up creative cocktails, specialty coffees, and signature beignets. While you might come for the drinks and beignets, you’ll definitely want to stay for the live entertainment and music!
Walt Disney World
Just today, a new Tiana-themed playground was unveiled in EPCOT just in time for the Food and Wine Festival and the Walt Disney World’s “The Most Magical Celebration.”

And, for World Princess Week, Guests can stop by Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs for a special treats inspired by Tiana that includes dark chocolate chiffon cake, raspberry mousse, raspberry pate fruit, and chocolate crisp pearls.

At this Disney Destination, you can also spot Tiana and her other Disney Princess Pals in the Princess Cavalcade at the Magic Kingdom or maybe catch “The Princess and the Frog” under the stars at your favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for Movies Under the Stars.

Tiana at Disneyland
If you are over on the west coast, you will be able to spot Tiana during the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures experience coming to Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa beginning August 26.

And, later on, Guests will also be able to experience the re-themed Splash Mountain as “Princess and Frog” attraction at both Disneyland Park and the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World!

Hong Kong Disneyland
The recently debuted, Castle of Magical Dreams at Hong Kong Disneyland was inspired by the 13 courageous stories of our favorite Disney Princesses including the tale of Princess Tiana. If you take a look at the one of the Castle’s towers, you will see a nod to Tiana’s story. Created for Hong Kong Disneyland’s 15th Anniversary, the castle is not only the centerpiece of the park it also shines as a symbol of courage, hope, and possibility.

Shanghai Disney

There are several ways to interact with Tiana at the Shanghai Disney Resort in China! Start by checking out the all-new live theater performance, Mickey’s Storybook Adventure, that is now showing in Shanghai Disneyland. Featuring classic Disney songs it also includes cameos by over 23 Disney characters including Princess Tiana.
After enjoying Mickey’s Storybook Adventure, make plans to dine at the Royal Banquet Hall in the Tiana-themed dining room! Tiana’s dad always said, “Good food has a way of bringing people together,” and you will definitely enjoy some really good food with menu items including Chinese favorites and favorites from the West.

The Enchanted Storybook Castle at Shanghai Disney also pays homage to out favorite Disney Princesses and features a mosaic that depicts the tale of Tiana.
