BREAKING: Oogie Boogie Bash Ticket Sale Glitch a True Nightmare
Ticket sales for Disneyland’s annual Halloween celebration, Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, opened this morning at 9 a.m. PST to quite a fright. Using a virtual queue only, guests experienced wavering wait times and an inability to actual purchase tickets for the special event once they hit the final screen of the process.
Carts emptied, credit cards received pending charges, and no confirmations went out in the first two hours of availability.
Woke up early this morning for the #oogieboogiebash tickets going on sale. Waited in the virtual queue for about almost half an hour. Get the tickets. As I’m checking out an ERROR page pops up. I Haven’t got a confirmation email or the tickets but got charged for it? @Disneyland

Guests took to Twitter to share their frustrations with yet another pile of technological chaos for those coveted Disney special event purchases. Oogie Boogie Bash joins a similar list of headaches to purchase Boo Bash tickets last month at Walt Disney World.
If your Oogie Boogie Bash wait time isn’t reducing from ‘more than an hour’ – this will probably be why! Because those people already in, can’t checkout.

For some, the bulk of the frustration began long before they hit the final cart phase. Wait times frequently dipped down into the single digits only to burst back up well over 30 minutes within the blink of an eye.
Tried 5 times and got 5 errors. I’m walking away for now. #OogieBoogieBash https://t.co/SV4KfwkUeS

People reached out to Disneyland via Twitter asking for any information regarding to the website challenges.
Ayo @Disney @Disneyland @DisneyParks either get your phones working or tweet. People have no way of contacting you, we are getting charged double/triple times. Get your stuff together. with love, <3 #Disney #OogieBoogieBash #Disneyland #OogieBoogie

Some users even claimed to have gotten through to Disneyland support regarding the excessive charges with no confirmation page ever appearing.
Just heard from Disneyland Support on the phone that if you’re getting charged with no confirmation for #oogieboogiebash , you will not have tickets. The site crashed and the IT support is looking into it now to see if it can be corrected. #disneyland

Eventually, few users did successfully purchase tickets to the Oogie Boogie Bash event.

MickeyBlog did contact our representatives at Disneyland who also guaranteed us that Disneyland IT is working on the issue. Current wait times to talk to someone in ticketing, however, currently sit around two hours. Twitter also provided ample help and moral support during similar issues for Boo Bash sales at Walt Disney World.
We have been stuck in the queue since 9:00 am this morning, on the same screen!!!!!! Still no tickets for the Disneyland Oogie Boogie Bash! What in the world is happening?
It took me 6 hours before I was able to purchase my tickets. It was a very long day. But I am happy I got the tickets.
