Tomas and Alfonso Arribas were in the family business of glass blowing and cutting. The brothers’ mastered their skills in their hometown of La Coruña, Spain.
In 1964, they represented their country at the World’s Fair. It was here that they met Walt Disney himself, who was impressed with their handcrafted artwork.
In 1967, the Arribas Brothers worked in a little shop at Disneyland inside Sleeping Beauty Castle. Their work is now scattered across 19 Disney Park locations around the globe.

Holiday Ornaments
Guests have their choice of three different colors, each varying slightly in its design. Gold, red, and green are the options, but let’s focus on the green ornament today.
As you can see in the pictures, all of the ornaments come in a blue box with gold writing. “Arribas Brothers Holiday Ornament” adorns the front, with a picture of one of their shops in the background.
The bulb has a classic design and comes with a gold ribbon on top displaying the Arribas Brothers logo. All the ornaments come with their own silver stand making them perfect for displaying.
Shaped in a curved pattern to ensure sturdiness, the stand has a lovely design engraved into the metal. The ornament is hung by its silver top on the stand’s hook.
A sparkly white crest with white dots evokes the feeling of snowfall. The scalloped section features a green and red Holly berry and leaf design.
On the bottom of the ornament, there’s a picture of the Arribas Brothers and some of their artwork. For $19, the ornament is a steal!
