KiteTails Will be Coming To An End September 30
Disney has announced that KiteTails at Animal Kingdom Park will have its final performances on September 30th.
KiteTails first debuted on October 1st, 2021. The show featured large kites that soared through the sky with favorites like Baloo and King Louie from “The Jungle Book” and Simba and Zazu from the “The Lion King”. Some kites stretched as long as 30 feet!
Disney described it as:
Hearts and imaginations will soar as larger-than-life kites and colorful props dance through the air to the beat of beloved Disney songs. Enjoy unique shows, themed to two beloved Disney animated classics:
- The Lion King, featuring kites inspired by Simba, Zazu and more
- The Jungle Book, featuring kites inspired by King Louie, Baloo and more
See the magic take flight above the Discovery River Lagoon during The World’s Most Magical Celebration—the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary.
Don’t miss your chance to see this show before it ends at the Discovery River Amphitheater, the former home of ‘Rivers of Light’.
