Orange Bird, Pride and Pixar Pop on New AirPod Cases
It’s a big week for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders with the beloved Orange Bird popping up not only on a new limited edition magnet but also on two different AirPod cases.
One case only harkens back to the design of the mysterious Miss Minutes character featured in the Marvel original series, “Loki,” recently on Disney+ with its bright orange background. Orange Bird’s smiling beak and bright eyes pop through the clear case.
The second annual passholder case design takes on a more subtle background color with a lovely blue shade. Also for annual passholders, the second design celebrates two beloved Adventureland symbols: Orange Bird and Dole Whip!
Both exclusive airpod cases retail for $19.99 and charge Apple AirPod devices. We spotted them today at Tomorrowland Light & Power, Co., a unique merchandise location situated at the exit of Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom.
Showing Pride with AirPod Cases
In a carryover from last month’s extensive merchandise release celebrating June’s Pride Month festivities, two other AirPod cases showcase rainbow designs dedciated to Disney and Pixar icons. In one clear-cased design, Mickey’s silhoutte stands out within a heart-shaped rainbow emblem.
The second rainbow-hued case takes on an ombre effect with thick borders across its top and bottom. The lines perfectly frame an array of silhouttes featuring some of our favorite Pixar characters.
Mr. Incredible (“The Incredibles”), Nemo (“Finding Nemo”), Woody (“Toy Story”), Mike Wazowski (“Monsters, Inc.”), Sadness (“Inside Out”), and Princess Atta (“A Bug’s Life”) almost glow thanks to a metallic effect in the design.
Beyond AirPods and Light and Power Co.
Looking for Tommorowland Light & Power Co. but not wanting to ride Space Mountain? No problem. As you approach the entrance to the attraction, just look to the left. The entrance features giant gears and clock, so it’s quite hard to miss even with the current Tron construction just around the corner.
