Waterfalls Not Working at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort This Morning
We started our day off at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort this morning where those hoping for the calming sounds of gentle flowing water as you enter the property will be sadly disappointed.
The waterfalls at the Poly were seemingly out of service this morning.
When we arrived, it looked like maintenance teams were hard at work on this beloved water feature.
Though some of the areas that the waterfall pooled into were still filled, things were noticeably quite as we headed into the Main Ceremonial House.
No word yet on how extensive this work is or how long the waterfall may be out of service.
We’ll see if we can’t find out some more details and promise to keep you posted.
In the meantime, here are a few more pictures of work being done to the entrance of the Polynesian.
We should be heading there later this week and will update you further.
For those unfamiliar, just this past Summer, the Poly underwent an extensive renovation to the entrance with a new Porte Cochere, Monorail Platform and more.
This is the first time we’ve seen this area out of service since then.
The ambiance of the entrance to the Poly really sets the tropical tone for your Disney World stay.
With that in mind, we hope things are back to normal soon!
