24 Emmy Nominations For The Mandalorian
Giancarlo Esposito, Jon Favreau, and Dave Filoni are among the nominees for The Mandalorian….
We all know the show is good. Apparently, so does the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences!
The Mandalorian earned a total of 24 Emmy Award nominations following a blockbuster second season.

Storytelling remains at the forefront of The Mandalorian, with the journey of Din Djarin and Grogu taking numerous twists and turns in Season 2.

The little Mudhorn Clan was joined by notable names including Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison), Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), Bo-Katan (Katee Sackoff), Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris), Mayfeld (Bill Burr), and Luke Skywalker (voiced by Mark Hamill).

“It is an honor for the show to be nominated,” explained Jon Favreau, creator, and executive producer. “We especially appreciate the artists and craftspeople being recognized for their contributions in bringing The Mandalorian to life. “To receive 24 nominations is beyond what anyone could imagine; we really appreciate this recognition from the Academy,” said executive producer Dave Filoni. “I am so proud of everyone involved. The Force was strong with us today.”

The Crown and The Mandalorian tied for top numbers with 24 nominations (and incidentally, WandaVision from Lucasfilm’s sister company Marvel Studios received 23 noms).
Meanwhile, the show was nominated for the Oustanding Drama Series. Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon) earned a nod for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Timothy Olyphant (Cobb Vanth) and Carl Weathers (Greef Karga) both earned a nom for Oustanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.
