BREAKING: Update on Reopening of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Disney has just released some exciting news about the re-opening and renovations at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!

If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog, you’ll know that the resort has being undergoing extensive renovations. Each of the guest rooms have been transformed with stunning Moana-themed touches. The Polynesian will also get a new porte cochere and renovated monorail platform.

Reopening Date
So when can guests return to the Polynesian? You can check out all these stunning resort changes in person starting on July 19th! Best of all, guests are able to start planning your Polynesian getaway by booking your Walt Disney World Vacation Package- NOW!
Know Before You Go
Guests staying on property will want to be aware of the following changes:
- Front Desk: The temporary front desk area at Pago Pago will close and front desk operations (and concierge services) will move back to the Great Ceremonial House.
- Magical Express – Both Magical Express and Valet Services will return to the new porte cochere.
- Monorail – Upon reopening, the renovation of the monorail station will continue. This means that monorail transportation will not be available.
- Front Entrance- Due to continued construction on property, the front entrance of the Great Ceremonial House will not be opening on July 19th. Guests should instead go through the side entrance.

Reminder
Due to ongoing construction, guests are encouraged to use the Online Check-In and Direct-to-Room service on the My Disney Experience app to simplify your arrival!
