Jared Leto’s ‘Morbius’ Delayed to October 2021 Release Date

The Sony and Marvel partnership have pushed back the release for their upcoming film, ‘Morbius’.
Originally slated for a March 8th release, the two companies have delayed the project seven months; aiming for the villain-centered story to reach audiences on October 8th, 2021.
Centered around the little known Spiderman villain of the same name, this foray into the vampiric title character will likely produce a unique viewing experience for Marvel fans.
Horror like in its tone, but rooted firmly in the superhero genre, there is excitement over how acclaimed actor, Jared Leto will bring the villain to life.
Although disappointing, the delay is not surprising. With the COVID-19 pandemic still deteriorating the theatre-going experience, production companies have to adjust the delivery of their films to adhere to a more pandemic responsible and worrisome world.
The project was originally given a July release, with this being the second delay in its attempt to reach audiences.
The film is highly anticipated for its connection to the MCU. Fans are eager to see how the Spiderman villain will eventually tie into the Tom Holland incarnation of the character. Fans can only hope that the project is well worth the wait.
