5 Shows You Won’t Want To Miss In The Week Ahead
The Christmas Season is officially here and as we say good-bye to November and celebrate the arrival of December we’ve got some awesome programs that you won’t want to miss! We can’t think of a better way to prep for the holidays then by tuning in to the Disney Holiday Singalong TONIGHT on ABC at 8pm. In edition we’ve got some holiday fun with the Muppets, some important tips on staying healthy from Doc McStuffins, an awesome episode of The Goldbergs and a brand new holiday film – Godmothered!
The Disney Holiday Singalong—Monday, November 30, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC
Tonight’s the night! Be sure to tune into ABC at 8pm where Ryan Seacrest will be hosting a night of stunning Disney-inspired holiday performances including:

And, in what is sure to be one of the most emotional moments of the evening, Disney on Broadway will return to the New Amsterdam Theatre for the first time since March with a performance by the Broadway casts of Aladdin and The Lion King and the North American Touring companies of Frozen.
Last but not least, DCappella will carol throughout the show, encouraging fans at home to sing along!
It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie—Wednesday, December 2, at 7 a.m. ET on Freeform
December marks the start of Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas and it kicks off with a fan favorite. The Muppets star in this caper loosely inspired by It’s A Wonderful Life. Rachel Bitterman (Joan Cusack) dreams of tearing down the Muppet Theatre and turning it a nightclub where she can overcharge her patrons. She inherits Bitterman Bank and decides to change the terms of the Muppets’ loan so the final payment is due before their annual Christmas show. Fozzie Bear loses the loan money and the Muppets must turn to Kermit the Frog for help. But when Kermie wishes he’d never been born Daniel (David Arquette) must show him what the world would be like without him in it!
It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie boasts a human cast of Zach Braff, Mel Brooks, Sarah Chalke, Carson Daly, Disney Legend Whoopi Goldberg, Matthew Lillard, William H. Macy, Kelly Ripa, Molly Shannon, and many others.
The Goldbergs—Wednesday, December 2, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC
Let the Hanukkah Celebration begin. Wednesday night on ABC, an all new episode of The Goldbergs titled “Hanukkah on the Seas” will make its debut. The episode features guest star Judd Hirsch who surprises the family with an ill-advised trip to Canada. Erica (Hayley Orrantia) also stirs up holiday trouble of her own at home.
Doc McStuffins—Friday, December 4, at 7:30 p.m. ET on Disney Junior
The Doc is in and she’ll help you stay healthy this holiday season. Coinciding with National Handwashing Awareness Week, this new special will feature Doc McStuffins as she interacts with real kids, families and medical professionals to promote healthy habits. The special will incorporate some of Docs most popular songs and will also feature Dr. Myiesha Taylor, MD, founder of the Artemis Medical Society and the “We Are Doc McStuffins” movement, and Mark Lee, R.N., who provides tips to preschoolers about ways to prevent spreading germs.
Godmothered—Friday, December 4, on Disney+
This brand new comedy created for Disney+ introduces Eleanor (Jillian Bell), a young, inexperienced fairy godmother-in-training. Upon learning that her chosen profession is facing extinction, she resolves to show the world that people still need fairy godmothers. Finding a lost letter from a 10-year-old girl in distress, Eleanor vows to track her down. However, the letter has been lost a long time and the girl is actually now a 40-year-old single mom working at a Boston news station. Mackenzie doesn’t believe in happily ever afters after losing her husband a few years earlier but Eleanor is here to fix all that!
