Universal Orlando Resort Hotels to Begin Reopening June 2, Resort Guest Benefits Announced
Universal Orlando will reopen to all Guests beginning June 5! However, select Universal Orlando Resort Hotels will begin opening tomorrow, June 2! And if you are a Guest at one of the on property hotels, you will even be able to get into Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, or Volcano Bay on June 3 and 4 – before the general public!
The following Universal Orlando Resort Hotels that will be reopening on June 2 include:
- Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando
- Loews Royal Pacific Resort
- Loews Sapphire Falls Resort
- Universal’s Aventura Hotel
- Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort
- Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites
Opening at a later date, will be the following Universal Orlando Hotels:
- Loews Portofino Bay Hotel
- Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites
Upon reopening, Universal Orlando will implement the following healthy and safety protocols:
- Face coverings required for all Guests and Team Members
- Temperature checks required for all Guests and Team Members
- Social distancing by keeping at least 6 feet between you and others who are not in your party
- Floor markings installed to show 6 feet distance in queues
- Use hand sanitizer when required including prior to boarding a ride
- Limited capacity
- Increased cleaning and disinfection procedures and frequently cleaning high-touch surfaces
Upon on the Universal Orlando Resort Hotels reopening, the pools at the hotels will reopen as well! Face coverings will be required while traveling to and from the pool areas. However, once you are seated and maintaining social distancing or using water features, they may be removed. If you need to use the restroom or grab a cool drink at the bar, you will have to put your face covering back on. Guests are also required to main 6 feet of social distancing with other Guests not a part of your party when using water features.
