New Global Marketplaces, ESPN Tailgate Tasting and Entertainment Announced for Food & Wine Fest
With July quickly approaching it’s not too long before it’s once again Epcot International Food & Wine Festival time. The 24th annual festival officially kicks off at Disney World on August 29th and will offer 87 delicious days of delicious drinks, tantalizing bites, incredible entertainment and brilliant workshops and seminars. Here at MickeyBlog we’ve been releasing Food & Wine news as the details trickle in and are delighted to pass on a look at some of the new offerings to look forward to.
Appleseed Orchard Marketplace
For starters, beer connoisseurs will want to stop by this new kiosk offering a unique variety of craft brews, ciders, wines and lite bites. You’ll find Appleseed Orchard adjacent to Le Cellier Steakhouse in the World Showcase. Here guests can pair apple-inspired beers, ciders and cocktails while nibbling on charcuterie and cheese. The drinks on offer can be purchased either individually or in flights. There will also be a Frozen Apple drink that the kids are sure to love.
With the “O Canada!” film getting an update, Appleseed is the perfect place to stop for a point before or after the show!
The Alps Marketplace
This brand new festival kitchen will feature incredible dishes like Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with Baby Potatoes, Cornichons and Baquette (below). Or fill up with a sample of Venison Stew. It comes with crushed potatoes and pairs perfectly with the Frozen Rose on offer.
Emile’s Fromage Montage
Head over to this marketplace to sample a wide array of delicious cheeses. If you purchase any 5 cheese dishes from this year’s Global Marketplaces Festival Passport you can also collect stamps and redeem them for a complimentary speciality cheesecake unique to Epcot!
